State law requires lobbyists to disclose how much they spend in the process, listing which officials received benefits, such as free meals, professional sports tickets, trips and other gifts. Missouri State University, originally Southwest Missouri State University, was founded in 1905 as the Fourth State Normal and College campus, located in Springfield, Missouri. Established as a Normal College, this University has a long history and a colorful one at that. Originally, this University was established to provide a standard of education for students in what was then called the "Wild West States." SW Missouri State University has grown into a large number of departments and majors, including; Business and Management; Criminal Justice; Education; Health Sciences; humanities; Science; Technology; and many more. In addition, there are also over 40 interdisciplinary studies that take place on campus, allowing students to complete degrees in such diverse fields as Psychology, Anthropology, Math, Graphic Design, and Social Work. A business and management degree program at the University provide students with a solid foundation in business knowledge. These degree programs are comprised of classes focusing on Accounting; Computer Information Systems; Finance; Human Resources; Marketing; Purchasing; Research and Development; Supply Chain Management; and Technology. Students can earn either a Bachelor of Business Administration, or a BBA, which requires approximately two years of full time study. A Master's Degree is available from the same department or a different one. An average of fifteen to twenty students enroll in these programs every year. An assortment of finance programs and jobs are offered to students at the University. From there, students can choose to further their education with Accounting or Finance, which require additional courses such as accounting principles and calculus. An average of fifteen to twenty students opt to pursue a Graduate Studies Degree in Business and Management. Some of the courses offered at SW Missouri State University include Accounting; Computers; Financial Services; Health Care; Hospitality; Marketing; Real Estate; Telecommunications; and Technology. Various job titles and educational requirements are provided to students who are pursuing degrees in Business and Management in Missouri. The degree programs offered vary in length from two years to four years. A University located in Kalamazoo County, such as Ball State, might have programs that offer online education in addition to on-campus programs. Other business related programs offered may provide financial aid to those who qualify based on financial need and minority status. Those interested in learning about business and management can enroll in a University located in St. Louis. There are over fifty campuses to choose from, and courses can be taken in the morning, afternoon, or weekend hours. The University has locations in all fifty states. An average of nineteen to twenty-five students enroll in Business and Management degree programs in Kalamazoo County each year. Learning about government and law enforcement activities can be studied through these programs. Students will learn about financial management, as well as leadership skills, teamwork, and other important subjects. Learning about marketing principles is also one of the objectives. In cases where a student wants to continue their education after they have received an Associate's degree, a Bachelor's degree is available through the University. An average of eleven to fifteen students participate in off campus business and management degree programs in Kalamazoo County each year. Learning about medical law, insurance laws, and business law are all studied during these programs. Law students can enroll in programs at the University of Michigan. There are over forty schools and colleges in the state of Michigan that offer business related programs. Business and management degree programs can be completed completely online. The program administrator can send reports via e-mail, telephone, or fax. Students can also attend a traditional college in person. Programs are scheduled by the day, week, or month, depending on the individual student's requirements.
